Hi folks,
here is an interview I did with James Owens at one of our workshops recently. James is a qualified carpenter from Blanchardstown and has been getting a lot of positive feedback from users of Tradesmen.ie. Sometimes the Internet can be a bit impersonal so it’s nice to be able to see one of the tradesmen in person on this video. If you are a customer hopefully this interview will help you identify positive signals to look out for when hiring a professional tradesman. If you are a tradesman, I hope this interview will give you a few tips and help you to see areas where you can improve your customer service and be more successful in the future. You can see the interview below:-
James has been in the construction business for over 20 years and he specialises in attic conversions, house extensions and bathroom renovation. In the video James talks about some of the services he provides and how he loves a challenge. Some customers were told a job couldn’t be done but James brought in a number of experts and he was able to get the job done that they wanted. James gives some tips about excellent customer service, being trustworthy, having a positive attitude, pleasantness and being upbeat. James also talks about snagging, the importance of customer support and how he hopes to train his son into the family business as well. It’s fantastic to see a tradesman like James with such a passion for his trade and with such a positive outlook for the future!
I hope you enjoy watching. If you have any comments or questions, please don’t hesitate to post them below and we’ll be happy to answer them as soon as possible.
Cheers
Oliver Dempsey
