here is a video testimonial we received recently from Richard Forde, Clondalkin, Dublin 22. Richard posted a job to replace a kitchen sink and the job was completed by Matthew Collison. You can see the video below:-

In the video Richard says he, “used Tradesmen.ie a couple of times in the last couple of years to get work done”. He says he used, “various tradesmen from the website, plumbers, carpenters, electrians” and that he found, “them all very prompt and very fast and their prices were very reasonable”. He said that it is, “a very fast site. You literally go on, log your job requst, give a budget of the price you’re willing to pay and you get back, within an hour or so, 3 to 4 tradesmen who would do the job for you within your budget. You set a time for them to come along and they do the job for you”. He said he was, “very happy with the couple of tradesmen” that he has “used through the website”.
Lastly Richard said that he, “would recommend Tradesmen.ie as a good website to get tradesmen to finish jobs in your house for you”.

Always remember these 4 tips below when hiring a tradesman:-
1. Ask for phone numbers of references so that you can check them out
2. Check insurance and certification of the tradesman where insurance or certification is required.
3. Hire a suitably qualified architect, building surveyor or building engineer if the job is anything to do with a new build, building renovation or extension
4. Agree on some sort of stage payments for the job. Remember that full payment should not be made until the job is complete and has been inspected by you, and if necessary by a certifier.
