here is some video feedback we received a while ago from Lorna Considine, Dooradoyle, Co. Limerick. Lorna posted a tiling job which was completed by William Noonan, Knocklong, Co. Limerick. You can see the video feedback below:-
In the video Lorna says, “I used tradesmen.ie a couple of weeks ago to get some tiling work done in my kithchen and utility room. One day I was at work and I decided to very quickly fill out the form that they had on tradesmen.ie.
I put in what my budget was, what I was looking to get done, when I wanted to get it done and I loaded it up onto the site. Within 24 hours I had 4 quotes back from guys in the local vicinity. They all rang back giving quotes in or around my budget.
I picked one of the guys, he was there when I needed him to be there, he came on time, did the job and did it very well. I would definitely use tradesmen.ie in the future because you can get people in your local area.. Yeah so I’d recommend it to anyone and I’ll definitely be using it myself again. “

1. Ask for phone numbers of references so that you can check them out
2. Check insurance and certification of the tradesman where insurance or certification is required.
3. Hire a suitably qualified architect, building surveyor or building engineer if the job is anything to do with a new build, building renovation or extension
4. Agree on some sort of stage payments for the job. Remember that full payment should not be made until the job is complete and has been inspected by you, and if necessary by a certifier.
