the Ideal Home Show organisers have asked us to let you know about their annual Spring event being held this weekend Friday April 11th to Sunday April 13th in the RDS Dublin.

The 2014 Spring Ideal Home Show is completely SOLD OUT with over 225 quality exhibitors participating.

The organisers are expecting in the regions of 25,000 visitors to produce excellent business for exhibitors due to the current level of consumer confidence, the Home Improvement Incentive Scheme Tax Breaks and SEAI Home Energy Grants both of which will be promoted at the event.

As well as the thousands of exhibitors on show there will be public presentations throughout the 3 days offering advice on everything from Better Energy Residential Grant Schemes, Generating Electricity from Solar Panels, the Home Renovation Incentive Scheme, Gardening Advice to Optimising your home and many more.  Big name sponsors such as ColourTrend and Woodies will also be in attendance and will have lots of advice to offer on designing and improving your home.

    cold hall doors. i got pvc hall door i do not want to build a porch or buy a new door but so much cold i think enter house this way any solutions,,

    Hi Michael,
    thanks for your message. You could hang a heavy curtain infront of the door and it works very well. Also, there is secondary glazing that you can get for windows, perhaps something similar could be done for a door. If you like you could go to http://www.tradesmen.ie/trades and post a job under window installer or window and door repairs and and for the title of the job you could put in “secondary glazing for front door” and see do you get any response to that.
