And always remember these 4 tips below when hiring a tradesman:-

1. Ask for phone numbers of references so that you can check them out

2. Check insurance and certification of the tradesman where insurance or certification is required.

3. Hire a suitably qualified architect, building surveyor or building engineer if the job is anything to do with a new build, building renovation or extension

4. Agree on some sort of stage payments for the job. Remember that full payment should not be made until the job is complete and has been inspected by you, and if necessary by a certifier.

    nice video, I got a job done lately by a tradesman from your site and was very happy with his work. I would like to do a video review of his work but I am not able to put in music or captions like you have in that video, what should I do?

    thanks for your comment. If it was a job that you posted on our site all you need to do is make the video with your web cam, mobile phone or video camera with just yourself talking on it. Don’t worry about the music or captions, we’ll add these later:)
